I called into Carbatec in Springvale today - the last time I went was when they first opened the new store-I think about12 months ago?
Anyway I was very impressed -they had lots of stock right accross their catalogue range, plenty of staff on hand and very helpful.

Hi Dereg,

I totally agree with you. Recently (past 3 months or so), I've purchased about $25K of stuff from them. Everything from Bandsaws to Lie Nielson planes to Leigh Jigs. I also went there just after their reopening and found the whole place fairly aimless. It now has direction and efficient and courteous staff. It's a shame to see Trent Bos leave, but I believe his successor will be very good.
