Picture hooks

When I was last in Italy I found Siamur hooks for hanging pictures - below is link which shows a picture of the package and I have also attached a picture of one on a wall:

They are very good for solid walls (not so good in gyprock). I like the fact that they are small, easy to install and to remove and leave only one small nail hole to repair.
I haven't been able to find them in Australia.
I can always have personal supplies posted to me by my sister who lives in Italy, but I was wondering if any one has seen them for sale here?

Although I can't help with your query, I would like to ask if you think these hooks would be suitable for hanging pictures on plaster-covered brick walls, and if not, what would you recommend?

I can recommend them for that so long as the plaster has hardened.
