Just wondering, is it possible spraying shellacing on timber or mdf? I was thinking of buying the feast watson premade french polish ( as that looks pretty thin) and giving it a go. what do you think? Will i be dissapointed with the results?

cheers

I second what ozwinner said, buy/mix your own from ubeauts range.

Shellac sprays really well I just use a HVLP spray gun and the results are excellent.

When spraying shellac dont forget to strain it first. I use paper cone ones from the auto parts store (paint section). These work well although cost approx $1 each.
Also you may find it a lot more economic to make up your own shellac (u-beaut flakes are the best as the bunnings stuff is very waxy and does not dissolve anywere near as well) as spraying tends to go through significantly more polish than any other method of application.
