Hi All
Just like to say hello,new to the forum.
I love working with timber,make a piece of furniture now and then,
however I get involved in making pistol grips for shooters a lot,and I am now starting to carve the grips as well.I got some palm chisels from the
US and will need some advise on sharping them,some are V shaped etc.
Look forward to posting in the near future.

If you are after advice on how to sharpen your chisels, can I first suggest you do a search under the heading "Sharpening Chisels" - there are 281 threads under that search :eek: hopefully you will find one that can help you.

The carving work that you're doing on the pistol grips sounds interesting.....got any piccys? Folks 'round here love piccys....
