Notwithstanding that, if the result was a day off for everyone, I would happily do so, and would prefer a bit of a grovell toward Liz (or canine familiars) than any sort of obesience to some scumbag politician or populist tosser who may be her replacement.

Corgies are a very useful dog......great for checking blade height on the jointer and if you wrap them in a used bedsheet theyre perfect for French polishing.

I went to work this morning to do a small 3 hour job, got to work at 7 am it was pissing down, sat there for 10 minutes and got out in the rain to do the job as it HAD to be done today.

Then spend the rest of the day between here and the shed making the Lamp of Orgasmo.

Any employer that doesn't factor in the cost of public holidays as well as the other employee costs like sick pay, holiday pay, long service leave or superannuation shouldn't be in business. These costs should be calculated and allowed for when setting your charges and then set aside for when they arise.

All your whinge shows is that you are not running your business effectively.
