We seem to be in an era of change, socially and technologically. :)

Worldwide terrorism.

We now have armed forces with fast reaction time. :)

New far reaching IR laws.

Nuclear power.
I suppose this has to come as our existing electric generation is at about its maximum without burning more coal.

Welfare changes.

WHAT NEXT,

Desalination Plants? :)
Probably, quite possibly run from the waste heat of nuclear reactors.
We have an oz wide water shortage and climate change will worsen it. Bores aren't the answer as rainfall is needed to top them up.

Any Nasties
I'm tipping little Johnny will stay on as pm after he passes 65.
Then the libs will raise the retiring age from 65 for everyone.
They'll just say, if its good nuff for JH its good nuff for everyone.
(pardon me for being cynical but when that happens the goverment will avoid paying pensions to all those baby boomers so leaving more loot in the trough)

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Hate to tell you this but Johhny has already obolished the retirement age, anyone can now work past 65 if they want to and as an employer you cannot tell them to go and retire gracefully
