Might have to skip this one, doing a father/son road trip to Melbourne.
Have a good one, guys, and hope you'll use the combined wisdom to solve the keyhole joint problem.

Hi Javali,

Hi,
Thank you for the invite. However, I will be working on Sun arvo, so can't make it.
Would like to attend, but probably better to wait until next year - at this time I feel like a "wanna be" and a "gunna do" - here's hoping that situation will change. I am looking forward to the ww show (never been before) and will be hoping to get some good deals on which to spend my modest "stash".

Well we might have only been a small group but we had a good time and met some new woodies and shared info. It was a wee bit cold but great nevertheless, and thankyou to Javali and wife Karryn (Probably spelt wrong) for a lovely lunch. Also thank you all for the birthday wishes. The pav was beautiful.
I'm going to the shed now to check whether I reallly do have a half round file or not.http://www.woodworkforums.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Was a good day out for all concerned. Was really great to get into Javali's planes and have a lash with those. Have to get one of those cerated blades.
The scrub plane is a marvellous little beast too.

Javali, it sounds like you all had a wonderful day, I am disapointed I could not make it.
Tikki, just as well I wasn't there, or we would have confused the lot of them.
Happy Birthday Trevor, I'm still investigating bandsaws, but leaning toward the leda.
