hope he does...not often a bowler makes a century but a double, has it ever happened?.

Arrrghhhh! You had to say it didn't you! I was desperately avoiding it.
He still has 23 runs to go and I don't want to put the mockers on him...

To date, 32 Australians have achieved 200 or more from one innings.
If he gets 206, his high score will be above the likes of Boon, Border, Gilchrist and Steve Waugh...
At present, Gillespie has Australia's highest ever score vs Bangladesh and also the highest ever score by a nightwatchman.

You see, my theory holds.
Hayden bless his heart took the manly decision to go out, timed to let one of the blokes who usually doesn't have a chance to have a go, have a go.
Of course the same goes for the bowling figures, the only reason some bowlers averages are lower than others is that the others get the wickets a ball or two before the former were going to.
Give Dizzy the ball and no McG to steal his wickets, and look what happens!
At lunch, not out 186, but don't expect him to be picked in a proper test!

Exactly Midge. What a great bloke that Hayden is... :D
As for bowling figures - he still wasn't given much of the ball (at least compared with Lee).
Lee 9 overs, 0 wickets, 36 runs.
Dizzy 5 overs, 3 wickets, 11 runs.
How could you only give Dizzy the ball for 5 overs! No wonder he was feeling fresh when he put on the pads...
Actually, Lee has taken a bit of a hammering this series:
Lee: 152 runs off his bowling, 1 wicket and economy of 4.22
Dizzy: 78 runs off his bowling, 8 wickets and economy of 1.94
ps it is lunch at the cricket.

Jeez I love sport.
You know what I reckon!!! The sport interested members of the WWF should come together and purchase a corporate box at the MCG, Aussie Stadium etc and then kit them out with maybe a combo machine, some planes, chisels and bits and pieces!!!!!! What a world that would be, and then SWMBO could learn how to brew beer in grolsch swing top bottles .... mmmmmmmm
