Of course it can be done mate! :)

To start off, right click on the folder/drive you want to share. Click 'Properties'. Click the 'Sharing' tab up the top of the dialog box. Give it a name, hit ok, and that should be it!

Repeat that process for any other folders/drives you want to share.

Sing out if you need any more help. ;)

Drift has set you on the right track.

However, a word of caution - it is not a good idea to share a whole drive, particularly the c: drive (or whatever drive your operating system is installed on).

Sharing a resource makes it very easy for a hacker to access anything they want on it. This is especially dangerous on a wireless network where you are at risk from anyone in the neighborhood.

It is better to only share individual folders and then only those that contain nothing confidential in the folder itself or its sub-folders.

Personally I try to only have one shared folder per machine and never put anything there that I can't afford to lose. This imposes some inconvenience because files have to be copied to the shared folder before they can be accessed from your other machine/s.

However, compared to the inconvenience of having to re-install everything when you get hacked, it is well worth the trouble.
