what finish to use

I have recently acquired some outdoor furniture made in Indonesia.
The existing finish was flaking so I stripped it back,the wood is very soft in texture.
My dilemma,what type of finish should I use for out door use.

Ross, there are many outdoor furniture oil out there. Feast Watson is one I can think of. I would not worry about which one is better then others. They all pretty much the same. :)
