I need some guidance with Photoshop CS if I may.

I want to create a boarder around an A4 page that is made up of text ...... I assume that it is something to do with working a path but that is as far as I have progressed.

I hope that what I am trying to do is clear.

Thanks

Stinky.

Stinky, I know stuff all about photoshop except how to resize photos. I have a copy of "photoshop for dummies" that I don't want. I'll PM you the details.

Hit the text tool, type what you want keeping a single line, hit control+t(free transform), hold the cursor just off one of the corners of the transform box(the thing with little squares around the text!)hold left click then move the mouse to orientate the text to your desired axis, then grab the text by one of those little squares and stretch it to fit... place it at the edge of your A4 and hit enter to finalise it.
You can orientate/rotate the text under the edit menu too... just remember to have the text layer selected in the layer box!

Thanks for the info .....

I thought that there was a way to draw a rectangle with the marquee tool and then have the text follow the shape. There most likely is but the trick is knowing where to look. For the time being I may have to revert to doing the single line of text on each side and rotating.
