Was on the tube a couple of nights ago, this bloke weighs in at 49 stone but what really got me was that he doesn't appear to work but manages to go out to a restaurant and eat the entire menu, drink 20 pints of beer a night, 40 if he is celebrating something, eats sausages bacon fried potatoes for brekky, enough for about 10 people then eats everyone elses leftovers.
If he can afford to do this sounds like I would be better off being unemployed there than working here!!!!
Anyone else watch this?

Social security must be pretty good over there... if you don't mind living like a pig. Not for me though.
What got me is - how does he wipe his backside, does his missus do it for him?
She was wiping the moisture out of his fat roll crevices so he didn't go all mank, so perhaps she does that as well.
Disgusting.

Is it an illness or are they just simply fat lazy food eaters? In other words, can they blame the society or should they just blame themselves?

There was a bloke in the US a few years ago, that was so fat they had to put him on a diet so he could fit through the doorways of his own house.
Dunno how someone could do that to themselves, but they do...

Well lets see, a pot of beer (which is less than a pint) costs $3.20, that equates to 160 a week if he celebrates something once so that is a beer budget of $512.00 alone.
Most Indian restaurants I have been to have a main for about, lets say $15.00, there are about 15 mains so that is another $225 which of course does not include the side dishes.
Then he has to have his breakfast, lets call it a trruckies stop for a cheaper feed, probably about $7.00 for one but he has more so thats about $35 a day so equates to about $245 a week.
So far we are up to $982 a week just for booze and brekky, have not included lunch dinner, his footy outings or other day to day expenses.
Not a bad life, not that I think it will last much longer.

More likely a hose in the backyard, or a water blaster
As to why and having a metabolism, more likely their mental-ablism
There were no fat people at Auchwitz or the russian Gulag's except the guards

Yes and yes. They can (and possibly do) blame society, or their mummies or kindy teacher, but they should blame themselves.
Glad to oblige Silent!
As for $, who knows, he might be a web designer who works from home, or a consultant on "lifestyle aids for the well rounded". Obviously he believes that if a jobs worth doiong it is worth doing well!

If he lived in the States, he could have his chap pick some of these up for him, no doubt a tasty nibble between meals.

So he should just eat less, a depressed person should just cheer up a bit and an anorexic girl just needs a good feed? I don't think anyone here could say why he's done that to himself.

Didn't strike me as being overly intelligent, plus the house looked like Government issue.
And after all, who follows football;)
What I found incredible was that he said he wanted to lose weight but was extremely happy whilst disposing of kilos of crap, but there also seemed to be almost a celebrity status when he turned up at different venues.

At the games boxing today George Foreman was asked if he was keeping in shape. He answered. "why man, I sho am. I used ta eat 12 cheeseburgers. Now ah only eat 11. Hyuk, hyuk, hyuk. "
To encourage such gluttony is disgusting and its worse making a joke of it. Especially when my bloody taxes have to keep these tubs of lard breathing.
The english tub of lard is probably kept in food and pi$$ by his tub of lard girlfriend. I think they said she was a graphic design artist. The average wage over there is around 700 quid a week plus he probably gets a disabilty pension of a couple hunmdred quid a week.:mad::mad::mad:
I might move there myself, liven with my little brother.

Reminds me of a BIG bloke I knew in the forestry, they used to call him "rocket." When working on our stook, if we spotted skyrockets made of sticks and loo paper planted in the ground we knew he'd been working nearby...

not trying to hard to convince anyone else though is he. Just saying he wants to lose weight while pigging out isnt exactly conducive to that thought

The one on the right no longer holds the title, he defaulted and died.

A Bondi Mullet at that (that's what they used to be called, the outfall that the surfies encountered).
