Highway patrol pulls over a Workcover Inspector for doing 68 in a 60 zone.

Workcover Inspector says nothing and cops the $120 fine sweet. Policeman finishes writing ticket and proceeds back to his car...........

Workcover Inspector in the mean time, gets digital camera out of bag, photographs the cop and proceeds to the police car where he issues the Policeman with an $800.00 fine for not wearing his hi-visibility vest when leaving his vehicle in a high traffic area.

YAWN...

Third time lucky for this one mate.

I think we can safely say this is BS. BTW I've never been told I have to wear a high vis vest in high traffic areas. You would think if coppers were getting booked, the powers would tell us to wear 'em.;)

Mythbusters got nothing on me.:D

I remember watching the wallopers booking the grey ghosts for double parking out side the County Court while writing tickets many years ago, they had Mini Mokes then.

That might have been me... ;)

When I was working in town we parked out the back of the office on night shift. It was a loading zone between 9am and 5pm. Got stuck with a crook one night and got to my car at 9.06 am. There was a ticket on it at 9.02. There were two other cars and the grey ghosts car parked in the same loading zone. Neither of the others had tickets but they had business cards from the coffee shop next door. Sure enough, there was the grey ghost, sitting having a coffee.

Ran back up to the office and booked all three. :p
