My studio solution
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After many years painting watercolours I have at last found my perfect solution to a setup.
As you can observe from the following pictures its a plastic kitchen table (portable) and next to a radiator. The best thing that has happened in a long time is that I laid an old bathroom towel down on the tabletop, this stops brushes rolling around, water spashing about and most important to me is that I can quickly wipe a brush across the towel and produce a dry or dryish brush,(and clean). Also the radiator provides a quick solution to dry off the paper if needed.
In addition today my last sheet of paper on the watercolour block had come adrift from the cardboard support, I tacked it down with four staples and it worked, no cockling of the paper to worry about when the paper was wetted.
Anyway pictures attached.
