Typical Melbourne weather!!!!:D :D :D :D

(My mothers family are from Footscray, so I know the vaguries of the weather, we would pack for 4 seasons for the Christmas holiday visit. 4 seasons in one day, that is  )

Al, methinks you need to be rubbin' and bowin' to your magical twig of thingy to appease the weather gods (although here in Melbourne, I believe they're called the "whether" gods...

BTW: sitting here at the electric abacus, I just heard the heating kick-in. Nutz!

I remember one day only a few years ago, it woulda been pushing 40 and stoopid me was digging holes for some light poles. Shorts, t shirt and a hat.

Then, the cold musta blown in off antarctica because it dropped to about 10 within 30 seconds.

Mad dash for the car, jumper and overalls on. Freakiest thing ever, the cold just rolled in like a wave.

At least the rain gives up after a little while in Melbourne. When I was in Sydney, rained for a solid week. Just adding to the misery really... ;)

Here, I still look in wonder at the snow when it drifts down. Great stuff, a tad cold though.

Ozwinner, your heat problem has had me worried all morning and I have come up with a solution. I recall you had a problem with a certain gentleman and a skip in your parking area.

Why not fill a skip with water (add some ice blocks) and jump in occassionaly that should cool you off. Otherwise get a kiddies rubber paddling pool, if ice is a problem, pop over here I can let you have some off our fishpond.

Whether the weather be windy, or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather whatever the weather. Whether we like it or not!

Try saying that three times quickly after beer time... ;)

LOve Melbourne weather, never have to put up with the heat for too long. 2 years of tropical heat in Malaysia was enough for me. No chance of heading to QLD or NT to live, fries your brains up there.............

We've employed a chippy from Melbourne. Big mistake!! He can't handle the heat. As soon as it starts to get over 30 he heads for home. Bunch of whimps down there!!! ;)
