Three subbies were sitting in the shed waiting for a downpour to finish. They were arguing about which was the oldest trade. They all agreed that their trades went back to Biblical times. The brickie said that in the time of the Pharoahs bricks were made of mud and straw. He said that obviously a brickie had to lay the bricks. the carpenter said carpentry was much older. Noah's Ark was built of wood, and was very big. It held elephants, and hippopotamuses, and giraffes. A carpenter had to have built the ark. The sparkie had a smirk on his face all this time. He said in the book of Genesis, the first chapter, the third verse it says God said let there be light and there was light.
"And who do you think laid the cables the day before?"
