Hi Greg
Happy Australia Day and congratulations on becoming "one of us"!
Being a Canozzie, you might enjoy this pic I received from a friend in Canada this morning ... still Wednesday over there, this was a practice run to see if it could cope with minus 10 and not suffer "shrinkage" :D It will be flown along with the Canadian flag for Australia Day on the 26th.
Enjoy your day :D
Cheers
Tikki :)

Thanks Tikki....I had some involuntary shrinkage myself just remembering how cold January used to feel.
Cheers

Greg, I suspect you were an Aussie long before you signed a bit of paper, we're lucky to have you.

Holy cow! Thanks, Groggy. That's quite a compliment.
Years ago (today still?) Australia and Canada had a teacher exchange, and two guys stand out in my memory: Barry Powell, and Mister Hanrahan.
They could both punch above their weight intellectually, and, having travelled, they inspired us to look above our parochial little lives.
The both also had great love of country, and some of that must have rubbed off.
Pancakes with maple syrup breakfast, snags and VB later. (eh?)

I had mine in 2006. Haven't had time to regret it yet, but believe I won't.
