Met a bloke coming down the Strzelecki track like that once, in a Falcon towing a huge van. The studs had sheared off the front van wheels.

He'd towed the van because the railways wanted to charge him $100 to freight it!

I've seen a few of those around Broady, usually a torana trying to tow a F100 or similar on a tandem.
What worries me too is what some people tow horse floats with, saw a three horse angle loader being towed by a 3 litre Pajero:eek:
There used to be a show on TV with the NZ police chasing deekeds all over the place, remember a galah in a Honda Civic lost control when his tandem furniture removal trailer pushed him off the road, he was at a complete loss as to why.

The problem up here is that we do not administer an intellignece test as part of the driver licencing procedure. The driving licencing procedure involves insuring that one can aim a motor vehicle and be reasonably certain that they will not hit what they are aiming at.
