Currently have double door fridge. Thinks it's a Westinghouse given it's model number is WSE6100**. Over the years, we have broken most of the door shelves. Cheapest I could find them was $50 plus postage.

Just wondering if anybody knows whether fridge companies use interchangeable parts anytime. Will any other fridge door shelves fit our fridge?

Westinghouse and Electrolux are related. But I wouldn't expect the latter to be any cheaper... I've repaired several door shelves (white and clear plastic ones) with superglue then layers of cellotape which have lasted years. Just did one at Mum's the other day

Interesting method. I would have thought the sellotape would get brittle and crack.

As for one brand being cheaper than another, I'd agree with you that both will be expensive.

I was thinking that if there is a similar size with another manufacturer, it doubles my options. Fingers crossed

doubt it, they probably all have their own and they are ridiculously priced. i had a 7-8 years old fridge several years ago and it was almost cheaper to get a new fridge than replace 4 shelves. so got new fridge instead.
