Kitchen cabinet chipboard repair

My drawers are falling down, the kitchen drawers, that is. It looks like the problem is where the runner is attached. The fastenings are pulling out of the case and in the pics, the chipboard is a bit mangled.

I'd appreciate suggestions on how to repair this.

Remove the slides, drill new holes in them and replace.

if the actual rails are still attached you'll probably find there are multiple other holes un-used on them

buy some proper "euro" screws and re-attach them

Yeah, but they have that thicc screw pitch so it can really bite into the chip board

Looked for the European screws but can only find packs of 100 and 1000. While I was at Ikea, I checked their parts bin for their drawer range and found two types, 8x6mm and 12x6mm. Both look like they need a 5mm pilot hole so I'll give them a try.

Euro screws as you’ve found are only available in bulk. Typically these are used in the shop by cabinet makers where they are jigged up and have drilling machines to predrill the panels. On site they often will use #8 16mm long threads. If you were installing the drawer slide first time you would predrill the slotted holes for a 16mm truss-head screw and install them reasonably tight then fine tune the slide position and drill the remaining circular holes with a Vix bit and screw off with 16mm #8 long threads. Just use some unused screw holes or drill some more and screw off with 16mm long threads

Okey dokey, it's repaired. All of the screw in that runner were coming lose and the damage to the particular euro screws was at the superficial level, I was able to get some screw engagement and tightened the rest. Then I added a few extra 16mm screws to help support the runner.
