There hasn't been much activity here so I thought I'd post an image of one of my commissions for a client in Vancouver, Canada.
The house is a Spanish-style home. The clients wanted to obscure the view of their neighbours' property visible through a clear glass panel. The panel could be lit from outside at night, throwing beautiful colours onto the floor. The Spanish motifs, which don't show well at this small scale, are: Moorish arch, 'E' for Espaņa, a painted and fired image of one of the bulls from the caves at Altamira, an orange, for Seville, wrought iron tracery, red tiles, etc.
It is approx. 1800 H.
