Hi Guys
Need help with a timber floor in a house inhabited by ferals for about 10yrs.
The timber looks like NQ Rosewood ??. It was finished (sanded and estapolled) about 10 yrs ago, but now is in a sad sad state. Some bare areas (not many, very small areas where furniture has been, entrances, and edges of high boards) and plenty (again, plenty) of scratches.
Ideally the floor should be sanded and re-finished, but the old budget just aint up to it at the moment.
I guess I am looking for a easy to apply fininsh that will hide the bare areas and scratches.
Any ideas anyone ??
I can remember reading somewhere that a kero/water mix may work but then again the kero will sit on the good finish wont it ?
Many thanks in adavance.
Steve
