View Full Version : Hardie groove lining in bathroom, waterproofing question

I plan on using hardie groove lining board on a couple walls in bathroom but not shower etc, but have question on how to then waterproof it.
Do I apply waterproof up the wall edge and than just a fibre cement skirt over the top.?
Please note I'm not having tiles in bathroom. The rest of bathroom will be micrcement both floor and shower wall etc.

I would use a perimeter flashing around the walls installed before the wall sheets:
