Lots of rain on the central coast lately! House is a mid-80s build. This window is on the upper floor. When we get a lot of driving rain against this face of the house, I notice that there is water between the window frame and the windowsill. If the rain is very hard, the water will pool. But usually it just enough that I can wick the water up from between the sill and the window frame.
I’ve cleared out the inside of the frame of gunk to make sure water can escape via the little weeper holes. Trying to figure out where else the water could come from? If you look at the photo of the outside, there are the gaps around the frame where the overlapping cladding creates a gap. Maybe from there?
Any help figuring out where the water is getting in would be appreciated. Thanks
