Hello,
We have a 6' x 6' table that was super glossy and interesting textures and features (I'm not sure how to describe -- see photos). Over the years, it's become scratched and dull in some areas. I think we scrubbed at it too hard. We use it as the kitchen table and expect it to get dinged up, but thttps://drive.google.com/file/d/16RPHIm-aLzaxbNuDpdhdCVYQ7omwvfvU/view?usp=sharinghttps://drive.google.com/file/d/197lsJ1RoRkE9vPHcW9QxS4f-BCOHcmQb/view?usp=drive_linkhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1Qyde9gzjt0VQOmdMyi7-rpFR696FLO6t/view?usp=drive_linkhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1jKphbiS6i6vXF329uL5aOXfT_ADRcIHV/view?usp=drive_linkhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1Gv44y-lfYF9JUNUiR21znNM7nE949Khu/view?usp=drive_linkhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1xQpnWp6JSxP5FzctduydunqrrrU21h9y/view?usp=drive_linkhe current look is a mess. Perhaps we have been too aggressive, but it doesn't seem to stand up to the wear and tear that a kitchen table receives -- at least, not in my house!. I'm wondering if it's possible to refinish only the top surface and leave the rest as-is? But I'm not sure how to strip it, or what would happen to all the textures and coloration the manufacturer built into it. Also not sure if it's something I could take on (preferable), or if I need professional help/equipment.
