Just Got the latest phishing email.......

From National Australia Bank...

How do I know definately it is phishing.. I work in the IT department of... NAB

I think they picked the wrong target

So all you people who bank with the national. We NEVER ask for your password in an email..... If you get an email, no matter how legitimate it looks. NEVER click on the link. type the URL of your bank yourself and go from there, if it is legit then there will be a link on the site.

Keep your eyes open guys and take care out there

Gra you get a greenie just for the admission of guilt:p , seriously though I reckon on our 3 email addys on 3 computers we've had that bait at least 30 times, they must get something out of it to even try.

I had one from Amex who where concerned about security re my accouint and wanted details.
I don't even have an Amex account.
Ditto with Westpac and one of the WA banks.
I have also had offers of squilllions of dollars from Bongo land and won numerous lotteries.

I won a major lottery in England last week - didn't take them up on it because I suspected I'd drink it all in the first pub :D

Recently I won a major German lottery as well without entering. :D I replied and authorized them to deduct the $ 100 processing fee ( instead of sending it ) and sent me the rest of the winnings, which never turned up.:D
