Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has successfully sprayed water based enamel through a gravity feed spray gun? I have a paint spray gun and I've had all sorts of dramas with it. I could be doing something wrong and probably am but I am spraying it white and it was already White so it is really hard to see exactly where I have sprayed and overlap by 50% So I was ending up with a dry type looking spray between my passes, so I tuned the fluid up a bit so I can more see wet coats and have ended up with runs.
I'm hoping if I can spray it trough a gravity feed spray gun with the pressure turned up I'll be able to see more where I have been. I have a gun with a 2.0 needle so hoping I can spray the water based enamel with that.
Be interested in your thoughts on if it can be done or tips on spraying white on white water based enamel paint through a paint sprayer.
Thanks
Geoff
