Fire safety Poll number 2

I'm reposting this because there was a problem with the options in the first posting so can you please vote again.

In 2014 I put up a fire safety poll and I thought it might be interesting to repeat that exercise and then maybe compare the results of the new poll with the 2014 results

Once again, I'm not suggesting we need to be doing all of the things mentioned on the list but to treat this as a shed fire awareness exercise and if it helps prompt someone to do something about their situation then that makes it a worthwhile exercise.

So the poll is: Which of the following fire safety measures have you implemented in your shed?
I have added a category of "safe disposal of oily rags"
Please note you can check more than one response.
However, as I have no way of specifically locking these out, so if you check the first OR second response you should not check any of the others

Please make any further suggestions for categories in follow up posts in this thread.

have a fire pump and water trailer parked outside, regularly checked to make sure it will start and pump. Fire brigade whats that? where would they comer from? Fire would have destroyed workshop, shed and house attached before they got their butts into gear.

Interesting poll Bob. My FIL used to give me the 'you're paranoid' ribbing every now and then with what I have done in my workshop (extinguishers at both entrances, oil soaked rags put in tin containers after use, metal cupboard for flammable bits, etc) but after being in the fire detection industry for 20 odd years, it's kinda hard not to be.

That and finding a box of steel wool in my old workshop charred and burnt two days after doing some welding was the camel breaker for me. One close call was enough....
