My name is Ivo,

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand with my family, we moved 2013 from Germany here and bought an old wooden house, which always needs repairs.
I like tinkering with wood, electronics, software, some computer games, robust discussions - so to say, bloke stuff.

The current projects are the conversion of the garage in the man cave and, for our newest family member with 4 paws, a dog kennel.

The company here looks friendly and helpful, so I signed up

Welcome to the forum. You're not over the ditch, just up the road!

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Ivo".
There are good few members from The Land of the Long White Cloud and the rest of the world as all are welcomed here.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, The big island on the western side of the ditch, crowie

PS - Was in your beautiful city just 2 years ago for a holiday....
