Hi all

I'm Ted, I've been a member/lurker for several years. But I'm recently retired and actively took up woodworking about a year ago. Enjoying myself but also finding that most things are 'easier said than done' (such as making straight, square, repeatable cuts - which can be a bit/(LOT) frustrating (argh). Standard of work at the moment is "can do better", so I can only improve! I am slowly adding tools/equipment.

That said, I want to make a small presentation case for my father's WW2 medals and I will not accept anything shoddy - so I guess I have a fair bit of practise ahead. I'd also LIKE to graduate to making small pieces of furniture. At the moment that seems like a pipe dream, but I've got plenty of time. Plus we'd like to do a bit of touring, so there's no rush, no pressure.

Regards

Ted
