Need machinery transport Melbourne to Gold Coast (or Brisbane)

Hi all…

I have two crated Felder combination machines stinking up a friend’s hobby factory in Melbourne. So far he has wasted two days waiting for a truck driver who never appeared. That was from an online freight broker, by the way).

Does anyone have any leads on a truck or trailer that can take these two machines and another two pallets north to a depot? They have a forklift in Melbourne, and I will have to organise a local tailgate or crane truck at this end.

I am still six weeks away from being able to fly down there and rent a truck myself due to border restrictions.

As it turns out that after I cancelled them, the contracted carrier rang my mate in Melbourne and promised a 9:00 AM sharp pick up, so he again turned up and waited…until 11:55 when they finally did arrive. The worst freight experience ever, and that includes waiting for a supply airdrop in the jungle. FFS.
