Hi All, I'm a mechanical engineer with an interest in woodwork and fixing things. This includes restoring old machines, mainly big, old and heavy woodworking machines which I've been collecting over some decades for personal use. I may be posting with questions on old 'arn, machine refurbishments or just to show progress on those and maybe on assorted woodwork topics, possibly wood turning on my monster Wadkin RU lathe, as I get my dream workshop in order after a long journey accumulating my tool and machinery collection.
Looking forward to chatting on-line.
Cheers,
Richard

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Richard"....
There are a stack members around Melbourne and cross Victoria plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers crowie

PS - Watch out for local Melbourne get togethers, great way to meet like minded forum members & network [once lockdown is finished of course]...
