od pine door finishing

I have old panel pine door, stripped mostly and need to know how to get old paint from inside parts of panels and what to fill various holes with-sawdustmixed with glue?
As it is exterior door under verandah, can I finish with shellac on outside or marine varnish or what? To go with 1870 brick house with painted windows nearby.

Best way I've found for removing that paint is a heat gun and scrapers. For the narrowest bit, a flat scraper can be turned sideways and usually works well.
