Hi,

I'm almost at the end of renovating my 20's bungalow kitchen.

I've repaired (new hinges/handles etc) and sprayed painted all the existing cabinets and they look pretty good.

The last task is to get a new benchtop made, the main set of cabinets dimensions are around 480mm x 2950mm.

I want to get a laminate benchtop made in approx those dimensions, but before I do I'm just interested to know whether there's a maximum length of benchtop before a join is required ? ie Will I be able to get one made in one piece ?

3600mm is the longest rolls of laminate come in so your 2950mm will be covered. Just remember, is there easy access into the kitchen with something 3000x600x33.

actually you can buy laminate from some companies up to 5 metres long the only problem is finding a fabricator with a post former able to handle this length
