I have been working on this table over the course of this year, and showed the top in another thread. The base I had scrubbed, and applied I think 5 coats of coloured beeswax )Gilboys Rose Gold) over the course of some months. I used the tinted wax to hopefully tone up the colour just a bit, away from what I refer to as the 'green-grey-yellow' tinge and bring up towards a warmer yellow-reddish tone.
But it didn't really work as much as I had hoped for.
So after being quite pleased with the top results, cleaned the beeswax off a bit of one foot, and applied a couple of wipes of BLO over the course of a few hours. A noticeable change.

It was finally looking more 'orange-red' toned, so I decided to do a larger test on one leg face. Wiped off the wax I had laboriously applied, with turps repeatedly, and a final wipe with acetone, then a couple of wipes with BLO over the course of the day. WHAT a difference
The before

And after BLO
