Hello from South Gippsland

Hello everyone! I'm a new suburban mom. My little baby is only 5months old and I recently become interested in woodworking because I want to make some wooden toys for my little one. My husband has a few wood-working tools; i.e. circular saw and etc. But he got bored of answering my questions, so he told me to check out the woodworking forum. "The people on the forum are very nice," that's what he said. So here I am.

You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.

Your husband is correct - lots of friendly helpful folk here. If you’re looking at making toys I’d recommend looking at the Toymaking section on this site especially. There are some very talented toymakers there and they always seem happy to share their expertise.
