Hello folks,
I have been performing some wood projects lately and thought it may be to my advantage to join with other saw/planer/jointer/drill/sander operators. I am retired (UA steamfitter), living the dream! I am married (44 years) and have two sons.
I have a dedicated woodshop and a good assortment of machine tools. Live on 40 acres with 600+ feet of river frontage out 6 miles from the nearest town. Main hobbies include car stuff, snowmobiling, quading, and woodworking.

Welcome Mike. Where you live sounds like an ideal setting and would be just right for a woodworking environment to keep you enthused. Look forward to seeing some of your work.

G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Mike",
There are quite a few members from the "USA" plus "canuck" members and the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie
