I've come across the forum many times while Googling stuff about woodworking and thought it was time I joined in.
I've got reasonable experience with general and construction woodworking having owner built two homes and done some major extensions and renovations.

My finer 'cabinet making' experience is much less.

I'm about to embark on my first significant cabinet making project. Complete fit out of a new walk in robes.

Have had a Triton 2000 and Triton Router Table for many years, but am considering upgrading to a Harvey Table Saw.
Recently upgraded my old GMC mitre saw to a new Makita with forward sliding rails so it can be used against the workshop wall.

We recently moved from Oxenford to Hervey Bay. I left all my work benches and workshop storage when we sold the house, so I'm currently building a new workshop set up.

Fortunately our new place has a 5 bay shed. I've enclosed one bay and set it up as a sewing and craft room for my wife.

I'm using two bays for my workshop, so should have room for a good set up with mitre saw permanently set up and room for table saw etc.

As I embark on my projects I suspect I'll be here seeking ideas and advice pretty regularly.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Norm".....
There are quite a good few members across South East Queensland with a stack of members around Brisbane plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
