G'day all,

Thought it would be a good place to start by finding an Australian based forum. Been watching a lot of You Tubers as I've decided recently to get back into woodworking. Well, get into really. The last time I did any real attempt at woodworking was in Year 10 Woodworking back in '93. So been a while.

Currently I have only a few hand tools, but will be working on expanding more, so that I can tackle some more difficult projects.

Looking forward to learning.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum.
There are a stack of members in Perth and surrounds plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers crowie

PS - On the tools; always buy the best you can afford even hold off while you save up to get a better tool.
Also watch out for older tools in Market Place, Decreased Estates, Clearance Sales and Garage Sales; often the old tools are way better than the cheaper stuff available today!

Welcome! Perfect time to get into woodworking if you ask me, nothing better than being quarantined in the shed. Its a tough life but someone's got to do it for the better good of society.

Hehehe...

Always been interested...just no idea how. I started collecting hand tools and restoring recently so trying to learn how to do it all. I suck, but I am learning.

This coronavirus is hurting though as I have had to really tighten the belt for a while.
