Worked out why Toilet paper is in such short supply, when someone sneezes or coughs, everyone s**ts themselves.

the old bog paper has brought an amazing array of jokes and funny pics
if I cared any more I would start collecting them and produce a book made from recycled paper.

Last week, I stumbled across Toilet Paper in the office supply store (Staples) in the 'Break Room' supplies aisle. So we have enough for several weeks.

I told SWMBO that I was going to set up a card table outside the grocery store and give away TP. I was going to put a sign on the table,
"Free TP
While supplies last
Limit three sheets per person"

SWMBO said, "Not Funny".

During encounters between the Japanese and the Aussies on the Kokoda track, toilet paper has been credited with contributing significantly to the Aussie victory.

At first the lack of poorly equipped Aussie personal enabled the superior in numbers Japanese forces to make rapid advances until the Aussies got their act together setting up booby traps and ambushes to slow dow the advance. One thing the Aussies did not realise was the important role that toilet paper played in the slow down. The Japanese would constantly send scouts forward to assess Aussie troop numbers and one way the found they could spy on the Aussies was to crawl up through the latrine trenches. While doing this the scouts noted the large amount of used toilet paper they had to crawl through and surmized from this that the numbers of Aussie troops were far greater than they thought and duly reported this to their officers.

The overall effect was that this slowed the Japanese advance down, whereas they could have almost at ay time easily overrun the relatively few Aussies that were defending the track. While still a topic of debate it has been said that the Aussie love of toilet paper probably changed the course of the war!
