Hi All,
I have been skulking around for a while now, an introduction is long overdue.
Did some woodworking a long long time ago and really enjoyed it, in the last ten years my woodworking has mainly been making drawers and other items for camping and my four wheel drive.
Life was pretty normal for me, things were busy with family and work, but then just over two years ago I suffered a horrific tragedy within my family, this drastically changed my life forever, and caused me to change my priorities.
I am now working a bit less and spending time renovating our house and about to start getting back into woodworking. I am really enjoying working with my hands (very different to my employment) and I see the renovating and woodworking as a form of therapy.
I plan to start the woodworking side with building cabinets for my shed, then some bedside tables and other bits and pieces, hopefully building my skills as I go.
From what I have seen so far there is an amazing amount of experience and talent on this forum and I look forward to making the most of it.
Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!!
Regards,
Mark
