I picked a small old mirror and frame up out of a farm bonfire thinking I could maybe reuse it with a dresser top I had minus the mirror and frame. Different wood under the dark brown crusty BLO (?) and wrong size :( The mirror has lost nearly half of it's silver due to ant's nest on the silver. Instead of dumping as a waste of time I thought I could strip the remaining silver off, clean up the frame, and make it into a small cabinet door.

The mirror is heavy but the pine back cover coming off is some weight reduction. I know I could make it wall hanging but I was looking for ideas on freestanding that wouldn't fall over when the door was opened. Any ideas anyone can point me to?
