Just a question has there been successful attempts to place new mirror behind old mirror glass to make it like the original item? I have a bevelled mirror that has lost 95% of the silver and was considering trying to put mirror behind it. Thank you

Here is one type of re paint the glass stuff .
Here (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rust-Oleum-Specialty-Mirror-Effect-Spray-Paint-Reflective-Finish-170g/333108673754?epid=901257444&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item4d8ed2fcda:g:hXkAAOSw7ttcgy7q&enc=AQAEAAAB4BPxNw%2BVj6nta7CKEs3N0qXnIuF9%2BWlfkFd%2FU3aeRK6joGRGLttNilo1qm5LsaGqRU1Y9R3yTUHcyqyAbAKSWEEsfmh9PyIqmg4Ldbe4pYS1wJU7qCW7biSpt4%2FLK6bGldrldEvCqxgkneAPlK9lwKlAnMSHt4vEj0NhznkivACXwI4fqpiDxf8syik2crnSnWluhAcR7RwDc1iEUVZKbOBsIXH1Cg2gBy4YZSR4lyO2c0sS6xYYWvHyEenxxwd7EPJ7GWU2expHT6n18mj1zCGev4qymzvZicFKvQif7DVRXr5NImzJdIXvHgt8t09OdWHWmRAS6y1XZdbNuqpVyGEDgtbta8ytJRjAEjjQEhHhwTyaH0%2Fl9VMDXG9v1TAPNSn4BlDwVqD31dWCwdhhTNseTHkUAmZn%2FM6TcMX0DjBT%2FapgJRYsEsJbXeZhLrKeqpjNRk73%2FdNjABEg18Li%2BWOzndAndc0n96GyanwZuiVOtw0NJKU%2B2SW2jCrHQPzyLMVt2kNwt5OGAvPr7FyjLayXKCFuguaGDsmZlIQMRApbGJiYzTOTMN3mEOdTLOLTu9Do%2FCVxMkcKmLQKTLphK4tc3SL3WTB2w1%2B1FHcr9AOFBcI9QX9i8S4jYrzpxp1ICg%3D%3D&checksum=33310867375487d638cffb194bfb800eb961f745db5b&frcectupt=true)

Just bite the bullet and have it re-silvered, I have never found a budget method that works and place a mirror behind it will create reflection.
