It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of master turner and true gentleman, (Edward) TED Anderson.
Ted passed away last Wednesday 24th July.
I only heard the news this morning and will post more info if and when I get it.
Ted was a brilliant designer and turner winning numerous sections of AWTEX (Australion Woodturning Exhibition) one many occasions. He was also chairman of AWTEX committee when it was taken over (saved) by Koonung woodturners back in 1998.
A pure design genius and a beautiful man. He will be missed by many.
Paulines' and my thoughts are with his wife Val and family.
I numbered Ted highly among my list of favourite woodworking people.
Another one for that great turnery in the sky.
Neil :C
PS if anyone has or gets more info about funeral arrangements etc please feel free to post them in this thread.
