I'm sorry to report the passing of Raymond (Ray) Sanders yesterday after being in a coma for over a week due to a massive bleed at the base of his brain.
Ray was a woodturner and owner of Beenatree Crafts woodturning supplies and one of the first members of these forums back in 1999.
Ray helped a lot of people in the woodturning industry over the last 30+ years and will be remembered by the many people who dealt with him as a woodturing supplier and in his previous life as a police officer.
Ray was also a demonstrator at Melb Timber and Working With Wood Shows from the second show and many may remember him as an exhibitor at the shows until around 2001.
He will be sorely missed by many.
Condolences to Liz
Cheers - Neil :C
PS Will post funeral details when known.
