When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity.

To combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion to develop a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to 300 C.

The Russians used a pencil.

Cheers.................Sean, just doodlin' :)

I worked in a factory some years ago, bored, my mind wandered.

I made up this story about how the Russians had made the worlds biggest nut and bolt, just to be the first to do it.

Only problem was, one factory made the nut another the bolt.

One was left handed thread, the other was right handed.

I told one person, within hours I was being told the story as if it was a real story.

Aaaah, rumours.
A few years ago, SWMBO and one of her friends went away for a couple of days, so friend's hubby & I took our daughters (good looking teenagers at that stage) out for dinner at the local club.
They were no sooner back home than the word got back to them (via the waitress) that we had been spotted with a couple of girls, taking advantage of their absence.
