Today in the paper I saw a story that made me say to myself, 'I've had enough'
A four year old girl had been tortured. Wont go into the details but it was horrific and must have been going on for months. The mother and her partner have been given bail. I'd like to find them and do some of the things they did to the little girl on them but they can't be named to protect the child. What I would like to know is, how could naming these people hurt the child? I can only imagine that they would be lynched and, hence unable to harm her again.
I'm a bloody leftie and oppose capital punishment but I would string these people up. No excuses. I look at my littlest and think how can anyone want to do anything mean to babies.
(an attempt at catharsis, sorry)

I,m sure 99% of the population agree with you myself included , even the crims in prison . Why cant the court system and government see this and bring back punishment to suit the crimes . They say that 90 % of pedophiles ( straying of thread a bit ) re-commit and a high percent of the sufferers themselves end up commiting awful crimes .

Lynch mobs are dangerous.
We must support the law even when it is run by a bunch of......................
who would not know a thing about using prison as a deterrent.

Yes, lynch mobs are dangerous, but it is even more dangerous for society to rely on protection from the law when it fails to protect the little innocent ones.
Let's not forget that a society comes into being for the protection of the common good, we delegate authority to parliament to make laws in our name for the protection of the common good and we employ the police to enforce it and to bring the wrongdoers to justice.
And when they do and the justice system fails the little ones IMHO it is appropriate that society takes control again and meets out the appropriate justice themselves.
Some call it lynching, I call it meeting out the appropriate punishment that the justice system fails to do.

Keep them alive but hand them over to the scientists to play with to find out why they are such sick barstools...... So if they have to cut them up a bit so be it......

Put them in jail, but make sure that they aren't given protection or put in isolation, but are in with the maximum security general population. Then they will wish that we'd taken them out and shot them.

Death penalty is probably the best thing the communists have done to the man kind. You committed a crime, you die. Can’t be any fairer?
But seriously, some people should never be allowed to be parents. These people make me so angry.
