Yesterday and today I've been receiving stacks of forum posts from January and December. Is anyone else getting them?

no.
but be more specific. Using the web? Tapatalk/phone? When you use the "new posts" link, or when browsing? Notifications via email??

Notifications via email.
They are dated as being sent the same day as the posts, so maybe my ISP (iinet) has been hoarding them somewhere and just decided to send them

Were they to forums or threads you had subscribed to?
Are they in one email or lots of emails?
I seem to recall that, some time ago you or another Chris weren't getting emails for subscribed threads or forums, however this might have been Chris Parks (don't have time to check right now). If it was you then as you said it may have been your Service Provider but may also have something to do with WWF server upgrade last night which caused MWF to be off the air for 14 hours.
:dunno:

I am innocent to save you time, I no longer subscribe to threads, I use new posts when I log in.

Are you sure you weren't in your junk folder by mistake?

Yes, that was me. For a long time I didn't get updates from subscribed forums, but it's been fine for a few months now.
These recent emails were daily updates for subscribed threads, but they were for 14/15 January, and 20/21 December.
But i think it must be an ISP problem, because the sending dates were for those same dates, whereas if the Forum had sent them I think they would have had this week's sending dates.

Starting to look like what i probably said to you and others with this problem ages ago. Looks like a problem at your end.
Lots of service providers delete or hold stuff they consider to be spam and auto generated items are usually the first ones to get held up or deleted, depending on your security settings or those of your service provider.
All the subscribed emails are auto generated, as are birthday wishes, registration conformations, and a number of others sent out each day if requested by members.
