Got this table of a friend before it was broken down. Missed early photo showing the gouging on it but I had to go all the way and sand it.

Added Feast and Watson sanding sealer (my first time) and then lightly sanded with grit

Then it was stained with Feast and Watson walnut as I am trying to match it to everything below the surface and avoid having to strip everything. Here it is with first lot of Danish oil.

It will be interesting how well I can either blend the different ones together.
