Bought this for $10 because I kept sitting in it and finally found a chair that supports me (I'm usually too long in the body) when I recline in it.

Very light frame , can anyone help me ID the wood?

Cover of the original cushions as we plan to steam the covers but I would like to know what to do to these to make them bug free and smell nice

Never thought I'd end up keeping something so new :)

Not teak. It would be heavier. Possibly Philippine mahogany.
But then I'm in the USA and don't know your local woods.

After 3 lots of Danish oil I have reinstalled the frame and the cushions wait for cleaned covers.

Finally after soaking the covers (the water was black :( ) they are returned. It did feel like there was some shrinkage. The darkness at the front is just my shadow :)
